I believe in being the kind of doctor that I would want as my own physician. This means taking time to listen to what is said, or not said, as well as treating your health from the point of view of your whole self: physical, emotional and spiritual. I have seen the healthcare industry change dramatically in the last twenty years. The work I do used to be labeled "pioneering" or "weird" (depending upon who you were talking to) when I started, and now it's becoming mainstream. From Oprah to CNN to email spam, you can hear about vitamins, supplements and herbs almost nonstop. My approach is to clear out all the dross and strain the information for you — eliminate the extra fluff and just let you know what works and what doesn't.
