Do any of these symptoms of male hormone imbalance feel familiar?
Testosterone is not the only hormone in the male body. Yet, many doctors insist on singling out one hormone at a time to test vi
a blood work. As with women, the male endocrine system is a feedback mechanism of exquisite detail-a single hormone does not work in isolation, but rather works together with other hormones.
As men age, their hormone balance changes. Their estradiol levels slowly rise with respect to testosterone. These changes may eventually lead to male estrogen dominance. In men, estrogen dominance stimulates breast cell growth and prostate hypertrophy, leading to urinary tract dysfunction or prostatitis. It is also a major contributor to vulnerability to prostate cancer.
